The ACF is a membership organisation which supports the work of independent charitable grantmaking trusts and foundations in the UK. Its membership includes many large independent foundations, local and community trusts, family trusts, corporate foundations, and broadcasting appeals.

The FIN is the interest of equity funds in the Netherlands. About 300 equity funds are members of the FIN. These funds support charities in various areas such as social welfare, nature, international cooperation, health and culture.
