2015 ANNUAL REPORT

VIEW REPORT

2015 represented an important milestone for us, as it was the fifth year since incorporating WINGS as a fully‑fledged non‑profit membership association with offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

As WINGS membership grew, so did our staff, our programs and the  complexity of our activities. In response to this new reality we initiated  2015 with a fresh Strategic  Plan for the 2015-2018 period, boasting an  ambitious vision for the  next four years, a theory of change, and three  strategic areas to guide  our work: leadership and advocacy; network  building and engagement; knowledge and capacity development.

2014 was a productive year and helped us consolidate the accomplishments of recent years. We emerged from a very successful WINGSForum 2014 with great momentum, enhanced global credibility and high expectations. As the only global network for philanthropy infrastructure, we are facing increasing expectations and demands and we are pleased to report that our network is sound, financially healthy, and looking ahead to future accomplishments.

2013 ANNUAL REPORT

In 2013 our main office in Brazil became fully functional; we put financial and governance policies in place to comply with the regulatory, legal and fiscal requirements for nonprofits in the US and Brazil; our number of funders grew, and organizations committing to WINGS via paid membership increased by nearly 45 per cent.

WINGS efforts focused primarily on our five-pronged strategic plan: thought leadership, shared learning, knowledge generation and dissemination, sustainability, and governance.
