The leadership and direction of WINGS is the responsibility of the multinational WINGS Board of Directors, made up of senior executives from network participants.
The chair is Fernando Rossetti, secretary-general of GIFE - Group of Institutes, Foundations and Enterprises. The Board of Directors meets twice annually.

WINGS Board Chair
Fernando Rossetti is secretary-general of GIFE - Group of Institutes, Foundations and Enterprises.
Having studied Social Sciences at Unicamp (State University of Campinas, Brazil), he worked from 1990 to 1999 for the main Brazilian daily newspaper, Folha de S.Paulo, including as Education reporter and correspondent in South Africa (1994-95).
In 1997 he attended the Human Rights Advocates Training Program, at Columbia University, NY. He was one of the founders and, for five years, executive director of the NGO Aprendiz. He has also acted as consultant for many national and international organizations, such as UNICEF.
Fernando is also a Synergos Senior Fellow and an Avina Partner Leader.
