This week at the EFC Conference in Milan our special session provides an overview of the Global Philanthropy Data Charter, how it has been used so far, and discuss next steps.
The Data Charter was created as part of a collaborative process involving different actors from all regions of the world to help guide the philanthropic sector’s data-related work and instill a data culture. The animating spirit and vision behind the Data Charter can be stated simply: global data for better philanthropy.
Over the past year, the number of stakeholders endorsing the Data Charter has reached nearly 50; it has a dedicated website and is being piloted by several different initiatives and organizations. Look for an update in June!
