Are you involved with a UK charity which is making a real difference - but hasn’t received the attention it deserves? Here’s your opportunity to put that right.
The Charity Awards 2014 – organised by Civil Society Media - has begun its annual search for ten UK charities who are shining examples of excellence in their sector.
If you work for or support a charity that has every reason to be proud of its recent achievements, encourage the charity’s leadership team to enter the awards.
Entering helps charities benchmark their progress against other leading lights in their sector. And if your organisation is shortlisted, or wins an award, the accolade will help power your future publicity drives, fundraising campaigns and funding bids.
According to CAF Venturesome client PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools) - winner of the prestigious 2013 Overall Award for Excellence:
"Winning the award has been a huge achievement for PEAS. It was recognition for our staff in Uganda, Zambia and the UK for all the hard work they do and to keep striving for more. I would urge any charity to get involved as the process is straightforward and the impact is huge".
Sabrina Sallis, Fundraising Manager, PEAS
The Charity Awards are free to enter and open to all UK registered charities,.The deadline for entries is Friday 7 March 2014.
CAF is overall partner of the Charity Awards 2014, which will be presented at a gala dinner on the evening of Thursday 12 June 2014 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
