EligibilityDocuments
To participate in WINGSForum please apply to the WINGS Secretariat using the Application Form (Word, 129KB) so that the WINGS Secretariat can check your eligibility. The following participation guidelines are in effect: 1. WINGSForum 2006 will aim for a maximum of 200 participants of which at least 80% are WINGS network participants. 2. Each grantmaker association or support organisation in the WINGS network will have the opportunity to send up to two representatives: normally a senior staff member (CEO, President, Executive Director, etc) and a board member/trustee. Some associations may send more than two representatives, especially if there are other staff members, in addition to the CEO, directly involved in the WINGS-CF and WINGS-CI satellite meetings. This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the WINGS Secretariat. WINGS Coordinating Committee members will not be counted against their organisations' quota. 3. "Other" participants will include potential WINGS network participants (eg emerging associations), a reasonable number of current and potential donors (including companies to be invited to the WINGS-CI satellite meeting), invited media and other partner institutions of WINGS. With the exception of a few workshop presenters, no individuals will be invited on their own because of their general interest or past involvement in IMAG, WINGS, etc. 4. The WINGSForum Communications group will advise on media representation based on the communications plan. It is assumed that Alliance Magazine and the Chronicle of Philanthropy will be invited to attend the full event, while selected journalists from the region will be invited to plenary sessions. 5. In consultation with the local host, a limited number of relevant institutions/individuals may also be invited to selected plenary sessions and social events. 6. Based on these overall guidelines, a list of invitees will be drawn up separately for the WINGS-CF and WINGS-CI satellite meetings in consultation with their respective planning committees. If you have questions, please contact the Secretariat at wings@efc.be. |
