Philanthropy infrastructure and a culture of transparency
We’re excited about this issue of Dispatch, which focuses on transparency in the sector, beginning with an interview with new WINGS board member Tao Ze. We also welcome Vikki Spruill (COF) and Andre Degenszajn (GIFE) to the board of directors, and new WINGS members—CF Singapore, CRUSA, and ERFIP—to the global network. We highlight several reports, including a brand new collaboration with the Foundation Center on philanthropy in BRIC countries, and we take a closer look at grantmaking in a global context. Next week we will have a rare opportunity to meet face-to-face under one roof to celebrate our accomplishments and map the road ahead as we convene on the beautiful city of Istanbul. We look forward to making history with you at WINGSForum 2014!
