On the road to Istanbul—Connecting global philanthropy
In four short months the best of the sector will convene in Istanbul, Turkey, for our signature event, WINGSForum. Looking back on the planning process we know we chose a theme that defines the sector, now more than ever. The Power of Networks: Building Connected Global Philanthropy is about community, innovation and partnership. This month we give progress updates on the Global Philanthropy Data Charter and the Post-2015 Global Development Agenda, we report on several exciting innovations in data, and take a look at new research on emerging economies conducted by the Hudson Institute. In this issue: events, opportunities, surveys and more as we set out on the road to Istanbul!

The initiative is supported by the C&A Institute and has received the generous hospitality of the Vale Foundation. more »

Meanwhile, leaders and advocates are tracking the conversation on the roles and contributions of organisations in advancing the agenda. more »
