WHAT YOUR PEERS PLAN

Catholic Welfare and Development believes that to be sustainable, it must create a common understanding of sustainability, articulate its focus on three main areas (relevance, finances/fund development, and human capital and operations), and align all its plans toward this end.

ASSESSING YOUR PURPOSE AND VISION

To help you assess the clarity of the purpose and vision of your organization, you may use the following tools. The first tool is intended to help you determine the “;state of affairs,”; so to speak. By identifying the gap and its source, you will be more able to formulate a clear Vision-Mission-Goal statement.

(Note: Gap refers to the discrepancy between what you think the condition should be, and what it actually is now. For example, your vision, after your analysis, may be unclear, in which case you answer “No” in the table below. You may state the gap as “Our vision statement does not clearly express what I mean.” Next, find out what the source of the gap is. Is it lack of clarity? Or overstatement/understatement? Did it lack review or consensus? )
