Purpose/Mission:

 The Local Development Institute (LDI) aims to work at community and policy levels, and emphasizes community empowerment and self-reliance through supporting local initiatives and influencing macro-policy formulation. In 2005 LDI and its partners helped establish two community foundations, in Lampang and Udonthani Provinces.
