Programmes:

1. Annual events

The Coop convenes three times annually: for two learning events and one retreat. A convening group comprised of Cooperative members, Synergos staff and a facilitator, organises each event. The purpose of the annual retreats is to focus on the sustainability of the leader (through reflection and introspection) allowing for renewal at the end of a busy year. The goal is for leaders to build strategies for renewal and reflection into their leadership practice, to prevent burnout and loss of motivation. The learning events are workshops for knowledge exchange, innovation, and strategies and tools for building organisational sustainability.

2. Cooperative business and networking activities

Formal business meetings are conducted at each event and members participate in networking opportunities such as conferences, seminars etc. Members learn of such opportunities from each other and from the secretariat / Synergos office.

3. Continuous exchange of information

Between the annual events, members remain in contact through the Synergos office, as well as by exchanging information about activities, events, funding possibilities, new publications etc. among themselves via mainly e-mail.
