GIFE is composed by institutes, foundations and corporations which are active within the Third Sector in Brazil, making private resources available for public purposes. Its mission is to improve and disseminate the concepts and practices of using private resources to develop the common welfare.

GIFE’s membership comprises 109 corporate organizations from the north and south of Brazil, whose beneficiaries are millions of underprivileged families. GIFE aims at being the Reference Center for the Third Sector in Brazil, serving primarily grantmakers, and their partners and serving also as an interlocutor with the public sector.
