Programmes and events

This section features WINGS’ activities to build the capacity of grantmaker associations and support organisations worldwide:

• Global and regional meetings
  lists of WINGS network meetings as well as other regional meetings of grantmaker associations, with minutes and reports, including WINGSForum 2006.
• Peer learning events:
  access to past and future peer learning seminars organised by WINGS, with invitations, application forms, and reports.
• Online peer groups:
  email listservs built around technical issues that convene staff from WINGS participants and beyond.
• WINGS community foundations :
  a summary of programmes and events especially or exclusively of interest for the support of community foundations. WINGS-CF engages in community foundation promotion and communication.
• WINGS corporate initiative :
  a summary of programmes and events especially or exclusively of interest for the support of corporate grantmakers.
• Exchange visits:
  opportunities for WINGS participants to engage in peer-to-peer exchanges. The programme currently active is WINGS-CF One-2-One .
• Translation:
  activities and opportunities in the WINGS network to translate publications and resources into additional languages.
• Global fund for community foundations:
  a new initiative begun in 2005 to support community foundations in developing and transitioning countries throughout the world.
