About peer learning

WINGS convenes peer learning events for grantmaker associations and support organisations in the WINGS network. Peer learning events are face-to-face meetings which have proven effective in creating a learning environment among senior staff members of organisations participating in the network.

Topics are identified based on the expressed priorities of the network, and the agenda for each event is planned by the participants. Participants themselves also serve as resource people and session moderators to provide an opportunity for peers to come together to consider issues of mutual interest, participate in joint problem solving, gain new ideas and information, and build relationships and ongoing connections. WINGS aims to capture all the learning from these events to help participants feed back the experience to their own organisations and to share learning and outcomes with the wider network.
